I am an art director and an artist living in Petaluma with my husband and three children. I received a BA in creative writing from Hampshire College in Amherst, MA. and moved to San Francisco where I studied at the Art Institute. I have shown my work in San Francisco, Mill Valley and Pt. Reyes CA. as well as in Segovia and Madrid while living abroad in Spain. I have worked in a variety of mediums over the years, but always come back to pastels. I love the texture and versatility of the medium. Most of the new work is inspired from the natural landscape from where I live on the west side of Petaluma. My current obsessions include red poppies, cypress trees, cloudy landscapes and the rural open fields of Petaluma.
